Three in a row, this is what fnatic can brag about after winning KODE5 Global Finals. Starting their 2009 season winning Extreme Masters III Global Finals, last weekend victorious at ESWC Asia Masters. This weekend they nail their third trophy as they defeat SK Gaming without too much trouble in the KODE5 Global Finals grand final.
SK Gaming came from a tough win against mTw, but fnatic made it look like a walk in the park every now and then. On nuke fnatic secured a good starting point, with 11:4 as CT. Their T side showed that this map would go their way, but SK Gaming wanted more. A few rounds went SK Gaming’s way, but fnatic sealed the map with a 16:10 win.
Not even on inferno could SK Gaming cope with fnatic, who seem to have a really good grip on their countrymen for the time being. Once again winning 11:4 as CT and a victory was not far away. SK Gaming never managed to pull off the comeback and fnatic sealed a 16:5 win, making it 2:0 for the KODE5 Global Finals trophy.

This is the ending news post from KODE5 Global Finals. As an ending note, we are sad to inform you that there will NOT be any statistics from KODE5 Global Finals, as the organizers forgot to enable logging on the game-servers (We will try to reconstruct logs from our livebot, but the data is heavily corrupted in some cases, so it is doubtful we will be successful). We are sad about this, but there is nothing we can do about it.
Make sure to drop by our KODE5 galleries, where you can find a ton of photos from the two day action in Moscow, Russia.
