Thegroup sees one team of four, that is levels above the rest. Despite apoor show lately, the French representative Millenium is the teamexpected to reach the knockout stages. The team comes to Chengdu with apoor from Silver Arena, crashing in the quarter-final.

Regardlessof a poor show lately, the team should not face any problems securingthe top spot in Group A. Paired with Serbian team 4glory,AEON.gamesense from Singapore and Parallax from New Zealand, Milleniumlooks at a fairly simple way to the knockout stages.

The secondplace, which secures advancement to the knockout stages, will probablybe a battle between AEON.gamesense and Parallax. The Singaporeans wontheir spot by defeating TitaNs in the qualifier, but has since beenundergoing changes. The team snared Alvin "Matrix" Tan from TitaNs, akey factor for the team to get their game going. The experienced callercould be the element to decide whether AEON.gamesense will reach theknockout stages or not.

Parallax which consist of two of fivemembers from tws.mc, the 2008 representative from New Zealand, is theteam that will question AEON.gamesense for the second place in thegroup. The duo Bruce "infidel" Lodge and Byron "simcore" McLean looksto improve the fifth place tws.mc, in their group, that they managed in2008, with three new players on the squad.

4glory from Serbiagoes to Chengdu with a loss to PlayMore in the Serbian DreamHack Winterqualifier, a match 4glory seemed like they really wanted to win, aresult of tying one and losing remaining matches in the group stage, just to face PlayMore.

2. SingaporeAEON.gamesense
